All about the Music Electronics Repair Center
I have been a professional music electronics technician since 1973. For many of those years, I was lead technician and service manager for several large music retail stores. I opened my own shop in 2006. I am listed as 'repair service" because Facebook does not have a subcategory for what I do. I apologize if that causes any confusion. My labor rates are prominently posted, and because repairs vary in price, I can't give restaurant-style pricing.

I am a professional musician (bass player for the Spongetones and 1/2 of the Jamie & Steve duo); the passion and dedication I have for music carries over to my repair craft. I play test everything I repair, and I give tube amps a 24 hour burn-in when possible.

My specialities:
Repair of electronic keyboards, guitar amps, sound reinforcement and reel to reel tape machines (Otari and Teac/Tascam only).
Gold level authorized Fender technician.
Factory trained and certified for Yamaha, Crown, JBL,Otari, Tascam, Kurzweil, Moog and ARP products.
Previously a factory service center for Yamaha, Crown, JBL,Otari, Tascam, Kurzweil, Moog, ARP, Mackie, Roland, Korg, Vox, Marshall, Mesa Boogie, Ampeg, Crate, Peavey, Gallien Krueger, Soundcraft, Sequential Circuits, and Oberheim. I can fix any of these, but I DO NOT do any warranty work now.

I don't repair Line 6 or Behringer products.
