Allentown Sewing Machine Outlet started in Allentown as Levines Sewing Machine in 1984 in downtown Allentown. We carried new and used sewing machines along with accessories for machines and service. In 1990 we moved to the west out to Tilghman Square Shopping Center with Levine's Fabrics, and after a brief visit, moved to our present location in July of 1993.

Over the years our supplies have changed and in 1995 we began ro sell quilts, fabrics, and notions. Sewing is still our main focus with quilts being a close second. We are authorized to sell Pfaff, baby lock, and Singer sewing machines but repair most brands on site. All new machines include a guide lesson and a full service warranty. Our notions and supplies are quilt shop oriented and our fabrics are all 100% cotton and flannel.

The owner Bill Slopik was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley and has been working in the sewing machine sales field ever since he started working for the singer company in 1976. He purchased the Allentown location in 1991 and has run it ever since with the help of his family and employees. Bill has trained over his years with most sewing machine brands and especially enjoys working on the vintage machines from the 1960's and 1970's.

Estimates are always free on any repair and many questions can be answered with a simple phone call. Parts can be ordered for most current models and for those with vintage models Bill retains a large backroom supply of used parts.
