Our non-profit foundation was established in 1994, to get into a captive breeding program of rare and endangered fish, both freshwater and marine.

Aqua-Life Central prides itself on offering the hard to find, often rare species of tropical fish and plants. The Aqua-Life Foundation is built upon enhancing the experience for the tropical fish enthusiast by providing exotic and often rare species of fish, providing expert tank setup, fish medical diagnostics, and ensuring that each of their customers truly enjoys the hobby of tropical fish keeping.

George Goulart (aka "The Fish Doctor") stocks a variety of rare and hard to find "Specialty" fish at Aqua-Life Central. If you do not see a particular fish or plant, George is happy to work with you to special order any fish.

George has also won numerous awards for his "Show Quality" fish, so please take a look at the "Show Quality Fish" section on the Aqua-Life website.

His wife Irene who is the store manager is always available with George to ensure that your experience at Aqua-Life Central is one that enhances the hobby of tropical fish keeping.
