OUR COMPANY HISTORY

Founded by Stanley Goss, GPS has been providing mechanical, industrial and commercial plumbing solutions throughout North Carolina and beyond since 1949.

Our sixty-four year legacy was founded on the principles of trust, value, exceptional service, quality and integrity. Owned by Frank Brenner since 1986, GPS is located in Greensboro, North Carolina, the heart of the Piedmont Triad. Our President is Bob Nelson.

Being a strong advocate for renewable energy, we adopted new environmental policies in 2009, promoting solar power (PV) solar thermal, LED lighting and rainwater harvesting. Over 230 solar panels were installed on the roof at our corporate headquarters and we updated our lighting with LED. We believe in promoting what we sell.

Many of our employees have been in our industry for over 30 years and have irreplaceable knowledge and expertise that exceeds 300 years. Our success is because of you, our valued customer and our employee’s dedication to providing you excellent service and continued support.

GPS continues to be a thriving business, available to you 24/7, as a wholesale supplier with a large inventory of commercial plumbing (pipes, valves and fittings), industrial, mechanical, LED lighting, solar and other renewable energy products.

GPS has two additional locations to better serve you. GPS-Winston-Salem, NC and Kivett Industrial Supply-Archdale, NC. GPS continues to be a thriving business and the respected leader within our industry in North Carolina. We look forward to being your solutions provider.
